Origins

Nancy Ward is a Canadian folk singer-songwriter, pianist, guitar player and arranger. As a young musician in the 1970s, she left her hometown of Saskatoon to pursue a musical career in Toronto. She joined folk icon Sylvia Tyson's band, where she shared stages with musical legends like Gordon Lightfoot, David Wilcox and Ian Thomas.

Since then she has released six albums as a solo artist, including her latest, Handful of Days, a "best of" collection. She continues to write music and perform, and now composes arrangements for choirs.
